The Amador County Transportation Commission is Hosting a Workshop to Improve Local and Regional Transportation Options

 

The Amador County Transportation Commission (ACTC) is hosting a transit workshop on
Wednesday, November 13, 2:00 p.m. at its office in Sutter Creek.This project development workshop is part of the Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services
Transportation Plan for Amador County. Participants will be invited to review, comment on and
prioritize the Plan’s strategies to improve transportation in your county.The Coordinated Plan will■     Explore the mobility needs of older adults, persons with disabilities, persons of low
income and veterans;

■     Identify mobility gaps;

■     Identify and promote partnerships and new project address these gaps.

Attend this workshop to help us improve transportation options in Amador County! All
community members all welcome.

Notice of Public Hearing Concerning Transit Needs

Notice is hereby given that the Amador County Transportation Commission (ACTC) will hold a public hearing to consider transit needs in Amador County. The hearing will be held at the Amador County Transportation Commission, 117 Valley View Way, Sutter Creek, California, on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., at which time and place any and all interested persons may come and be heard.  All persons electing to speak should identify the route that is underserved, the population (number of citizens) that is underserved, and the geographic area that is underserved. Suggestions to resolving the deficiencies are encouraged.

Persons who are transit dependent or transportation disadvantaged and who would require public transportation to attend the hearing should contact Amador Transit at 209-267-9395 during normal working hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) and no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2019.  Should you have questions about this public comment opportunity, please call ACTC at 209-267-2282.
