Public Notice

Notice is hereby given that the Amador County Transportation Commission (ACTC) will consider adoption of an amendment to Appendix “A”; Designated Employees, in the Appendix of its adopted Conflict of Interest Code pursuant to Government Code Section 87300 and 87306.  Pursuant to Government Code Section 87302, the Conflict of Interest Code designates employees who must disclose certain investments, income, interests in real property and business positions, and who must disqualify themselves from making or participating in the making of governmental decisions affecting those interests.

Pursuant to Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) guidelines, the proposed amendment is intended to include all employees who participate in the making of governmental decisions and are covered by the Code’s Conflict of Interest disclosure requirements. 

A copy of the proposed amendment and a written explanation of the reasons for the designations and the disclosure responsibilities is available at the ACTC office located at 117 Valley View Way, Sutter Creek, CA 95685 for public review.

A written comment period has been established commencing on February 9th  and terminating on March 24th. Public comments may be submitted in writing to the ACTC at the above address and/or they may be presented verbally to the Commission when the item is agendized for consider and action at its regularly scheduled meeting, held at 9:00 a.m. on April 4, 2024, at 117 Valley View Way, Sutter Creek.
