The Amador County Transportation Commission is seeking a Transportation Planner to assist in implementing the roles and responsibilities of a regional transportation planning agency.  The Planner works under direct supervision of the Executive Director; and, with increasing performance and responsibility, will work directly with the ACTC Board of Directors, city and County governments, other local agencies, the public, Caltrans, and the California Transportation Commission.  The Planner will be given increasing responsibility to develop and implement the Regional Transportation Plan as defined through annual Overall Work Program work elements.  A job application and instructions for submittal are below.  Closing date to submit applications is 12:00 pm, March 16, 2018.  This position will remain open until filled.
